Sosandar’s sales soared despite being hit by a cyberattack at Marks & Spencer.
The women’s fashion retailer said sales rose 14 per cent to £42.3million over the 12 months to the end of March, thanks to its partnerships with Next and M&S.
The firm sells products through the Next and M&S websites, which are its largest and second-largest third-party platforms.
But Sosandar made no sales through M&S for nearly three months between mid-April and early July last year, after cyber-criminals attacked M&S.
The hack saw online shopping suspended and stock disrupted. After the hack, Sosandar downgraded profit expectations from £1.5million to £400,000, causing shares to fall 28 per cent in one day.
Yesterday, it said it was on course to hit the lower target after making a £100,000 loss the previous year.
