Nikki Bella, one of the stars of WWE, has revealed that a horrific foot injury forced her to miss out on the fun at Wrestlemania in Las Vegas this weekemd.
The 42-year-old was absent for the Fatal Four-Way Women’s Tag Team Championship and took to social media to reveal that a nasty injury had ruined her chances of being involved.
Sharing video of her foot and ankle swollen and cut, Bella told her fans: ‘I’ll finally fillyou all in sson.
‘Fractured, torn and sprained my ankle. It has been a painful two weeks.’
She had been anticipated to return to the ring alongside her sister before sustaining the injury, which led to Paige – real name Saraya-Jade Bevis – surprsingly returning to the ring in her place,
Bella explained in WresleMania press conference how a chance meeting with the fighter after her injury cleared the path for the comeback.

Bella shared a picture of her damaged foot – it is unknown how long it will take to recover
‘So I actually got surgery two weeks ago,’ she said. ‘So I managed to break, sprain, and tear my ankle. So, listen, how crazy this is: when I’m heading to Birmingham to get surgery, guess who is in Birmingham?
‘And Brie and I are literally on the phone, and I’m like, ‘Brie, there is no way I’m going to make WrestleMania, but like, you still have to have your moment’ and both at the same time are like ‘The only person that will still make it feel special is Saraya, Paige’.
‘There is no one else, and I truly mean this, no other WWE Superstar in the past or now that I would want to take my spot other than Paige.’
Bella also walked the WrestleMania red carpet in a protective boot on Friday. She hasn’t yet revealed how long the issue will take to heal but it looks like it’ll be a short while at least.
In recent months, Bella’s dating life had been making headlines. She was linked with Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean, 23, after attending a few of his NFL games during the 2025 season.
But earlier in April, Bella said she is single and focusing on her five-year-old son Mateo, who she had with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev.
‘I love being single,’ she said. ‘I love my space. I love how I do my routines. I love my aesthetic of my home now of just like, it’s me and my son.’
