- US lawmakers have demanded an urgent investigation into the disappearance and death of 11 top-tier scientists. The experts held high-level security clearances and had intimate knowledge of the nation’s most sensitive nuclear and aerospace secrets.
- The Oversight Committee warns that these cases represent a “grave threat” to American national security. Chairman James Comer is leading the charge to find out if the incidents are more than just a series of tragic accidents.
- A total of eleven individuals linked to rocket technology and nuclear weapons have either vanished or died under unusual circumstances. The pattern began in 2023 and has sparked fears that secret scientific information could be at risk of falling into the wrong hands.
- Donald Trump confirmed he has been briefed on the crisis and expects answers for the public within days. He described the situation as “pretty serious stuff” and noted that some of the missing people were important figures.
- The mystery intensified following the strange disappearance of retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland in February. He left his home without his phone or glasses and was carrying only a pistol, leading his wife to claim he was trying “not to be found.”
- Several other disappearances in the Southwest appear to be linked to McCasland’s work at the Air Force Research Lab. The facility is famous for its history with aerospace projects and long-standing rumours regarding UFO research.
- The missing experts include high-ranking officials from NASA and the legendary Los Alamos National Laboratory. One vanished director was working on “space-age metals,” while others were based at the birthplace of the atomic bomb.
- The FBI is now carrying out a “holistic” review of the cases to see if there is a common thread connecting them. Lawmakers are demanding a full, detailed briefing on the mystery from intelligence agencies by April 27.
