Explosive claims regarding UFOs have sent shockwaves through Washington, as a top lawmaker warns that the American public would be “alarmed” by the extent of the government’s secrecy. Congressman Tim Burchett has hit out at “arrogant” officials he claims are blocking the truth about mystery craft that appear to defy the known laws of physics.

The Tennessee Republican revealed harrowing accounts from Naval officers who have encountered massive, high-speed objects that seem to operate with impunity in our oceans.

According to Burchett, sonar has picked up “very large objects traveling at a very high rate of speed” which possess the terrifying ability to hover over the water for “hours on end.”

Burchett said: “We have nothing with that capability and I just don’t see any reason why our government should be hiding it.”

The Congressman further teased that he has been shown “some pretty incredible photos” during recent classified briefings as he insisted the tax-paying public has a “right to see” the images.

Despite the growing mountain of evidence, Burchett claims his fight for transparency is being sabotaged from within. Speaking to NewsNation, he slammed the “arrogance” of certain peers and unelected officials who believe they are above the law.

He recounted a shocking instance where “an unelected bureaucrat tells us that the president is on a need-to-know basis,” adding: “To me, that should be very telling to America that there’s a lot more going on with this behind the scenes than we’re aware.”

The mystery recently took a darker turn with reports of nearly a dozen aerospace and defence experts disappearing or dying under unusual circumstances.

The list of individuals includes high-ranking figures like retired Air Force Maj. Gen. William McCasland, who reportedly managed classified programs linked to unexplained aerial phenomena (UAPs).

Burchett said the scientists were part of the “aeronautical defence industry” and held “high-level clearance.”

House Oversight Chairman James Comer has now confirmed the committee will launch a formal probe into the cases of the nuclear scientists currently reported missing or dead.

All eyes are now on Donald Trump to blow the lid off the secrets. At a recent event in Phoenix, the President teased that UFO-related documents would be made public “very soon.”

The pressure is mounting after the Pentagon missed an April deadline to release 46 videos of unexplained phenomena.

“It’s going to take the President of the United States to step up and say, ‘This has gone on long enough, we’ve got to get to the bottom of this,'” Burchett added, insisting that “America’s just ready” for the truth, no matter how out of this world it may be.
