Lara Trump Reveals Why Barron Trump Stays Out Of The Spotlight

Lara Trump has revealed why her brother-in-law Barron Trump prefers to “lay low,” despite intense public interest in the youngest son of President Donald Trump.

Speaking on an episode of “The Right View,” Lara described Barron, who turned 20 in March, as “funny,” “so cool” and quietly perceptive. She was responding to a viewer’s question about what he’s like and if he “likes that the entire internet is obsessed with him.”

“I feel like he’s the sleeper,” said Lara, a former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, whose husband is Trump scion Eric Trump.

“You want to hear more about Barron because you see less of him. And I think that that’s kind of cool,” she continued of her sibling-in-law, who was credited following his father’s 2024 election win for advising him on which podcasts to go on.

“I don’t know if he knows that the internet is ‘obsessed’ with him. I think he knows that there’s a lot of interest. But that’s why he likes to lay low,” she added. “That’s why he likes to play it cool. That’s why you don’t see him all the time.”

Lara said Barron, who is studying business on New York University’s Washington, D.C., campus, is “excited to finish college and get out and work, which I love,” claiming he’s fully aware of “what’s going on out there” in the wider world.
