Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been slammed by royal commentators on TalkTV over their Australia tour, with Kinsey Schofield accusing Meghan of using vulnerable people to promote her fashion app and branding her behaviour the ‘most vile thing I’ve ever seen’
Meghan Markle has been accused of “exploiting” vulnerable individuals for her own personal gain. Kevin O’Sullivan was joined by Kinsey Schofield on his TalkTV programme, and the duo wasted no time in attacking Meghan and Prince Harry over their trip to Australia.
Royal commentator Kinsey condemned Meghan for photographing herself beside terminally ill children at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, while simultaneously promoting her new platform where people can buy her clothing.
Meghan recently joined the AI-powered fashion discovery platform OneOff as both an investor and a featured participant, meaning her “exclusive edits” are available for fans to purchase.
She raged: “They all agreed that Australia was the place to announce that Meghan Markle was an investor in an influencer app and you could shop her closet. Meghan posed next to children who were dying from cancer, anorexic teenagers, in an outfit.
“Meghan clutched the hands of the Bondi Beach victims, and within minutes, those outfits were available on this app. She’s using these victims and ill children to sell her clothing for a commission. I look at that, and I think that Queen Elizabeth is doing a cartwheel in her tomb.
“There’s no way in hell she would’ve approved of something like that; she would’ve been disgusted by it.” Kinsey commented: “You can’t guarantee that some of those children will be here in a few years, and there’s Meghan using their presence to sell her wardrobe. It’s the most vile thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I would’ve told you I don’t think she could stoop so low, but here we are.”
Kevin described the couple’s tour as “weird”, alleging it started with “faux visits” to women’s refugee centres and children’s hospitals. He said: “The usual PR pitches, ‘Aren’t we wonderful?’ It boiled down to Meghan hosting or being the main attraction at this weird women’s weekend.”, according to the Express, reports the Mirror.
“People paid 1,700 British pounds to attend this event to bask in the glory of Meghan’s presence. Turns out that she turned up at this place and spent two hours there and then left. That’s outrageous, isn’t it?”
Kinsey replied: “I think it’s something we should have predicted. Both of those people are very low effort. Meghan doesn’t want to do the hard stuff, she doesn’t want to go all over the world and represent the British Royal Family.
“She wants to get hundreds of thousands of dollars for a post on Instagram, that’s her objective. She doesn’t like hard work, neither does Prince Harry.”
The royal commentator confessed she has “no sympathy whatsoever” for anyone who paid that kind of money to “stroke Meghan’s ego”.
Meghan’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
