The final movements of a British influencer who disappeared in Morocco after a night out have come to light.

Rachel Kerr, 31, has been declared missing, prompting her “extremely concerned” family to issue an urgent appeal for information about her whereabouts. Based on accounts from loved ones, a timeline has been pieced together outlining the events leading up to her disappearance and identifying her last known location.

Rachel, an entrepreneur from Dunblane, Scotland, shared a bikini photo on Instagram on April 6, tagging the location as Agadir, a coastal city near the Atlas Mountains. Days earlier, she had written on Facebook, “T- four days until some proper vitamin D.”

She had travelled to Morocco for work and checked into Caribbean Village, a three-star all-inclusive hotel close to the beach.

Over the following weeks, Rachel regularly posted selfies from her room and shared daily vlogs documenting her activities, including exploring the city, shopping in the souks, getting a manicure and meeting locals.

Several days after arriving, she reflected on her experience, writing: “What a life to be able to wander about and explore places on our planet, meet new people and learn new things.”

Her final Instagram post appeared on April 13, captioned “la marina.”

What appeared to be an idyllic trip took a concerning turn after Rachel went out partying at SMART Nightclub, located in Hotel Agador.

This is where she was last seen. She reportedly left the club at around 5am on Saturday, April 25, before checking out of Caribbean Village.

In a move described as out of character, her mobile phone has since been switched off, and her family has had no contact with her.

A friend, Alexis Shaw, revealed that Rachel had completely run out of money on the Friday before going out that night. She also said Rachel had originally been due to return to Scotland two weeks earlier but chose to extend her stay in Agadir.

Rachel’s cousin, Claire Hill, later shared an appeal on Facebook’s Missing People page, asking for help in locating her. “My cousin Rachel Kerr, 31, is missing in Agadir, Morocco,” the post read.

“Last known to be staying at the Caribbean Village hotel however she checked on Saturday and we haven’t heard from her since. Her phone has been switched off.

“We are very concerned for her welfare and appealing for any information on her whereabouts or who she may be in contact with out there.”

Claire also confirmed that Scottish police have been informed and that family members are travelling to Agadir to assist in the search.
