John ‘Wild Thing’ Daly left a stunning golf influencer gobsmacked when she lauded the former Open winner and legendary playboy as the ‘GOAT’ of the sport
John Daly lives a life like no other with the iconic golf star renowned for his ability with a club in his hand and his extravagant lifestyle off it.
The two-time major winner and smoking and boozing Hooters megafan is still going strong on the course at the age of 60 and ‘sex-obsessed’ tag continues to stick with him as he welcomed the company of a stunning model. Daly, who celebrated his milestone birthday on Tuesday, was wished the happiest of days by golf influencer Karin Hart.
The gorgeous golf influencer, 37, who has emerged as a rival to Paige Spiranac posted a video to her 260,000 followers on Instagram as she posed alongside Daly at a table, captioning the upload with a birthday message which read: “Happy birthday to the GOAT [Greatest Of All Time] of golf.”

After cuddling up to Daly and pulling faces to the camera, Karin asked Daly for a kiss on the cheek, but she got more than she bargained for as the golf icon licked her face, seeing her shocked reaction turn to laughter.
Daly burst onto the scene in the early 1990s after winning the USPGA Championship in 1991, having only appeared at the tournament as a last minute replacement. He would then famously win The Open at St Andrews in Scotland in 1995.
Nicknamed ‘Wild Thing’, he’s earned his unique reputation through his astonishing drinking tales, trashing hotel rooms, smoking 40 cigarettes a day and having not one, not two, not three but four ex-wives.
The California-native first tied the knot to Dale Crafton in 1987. He was married to both Bettye Fulford and Paulette Dean during the 1990s before he wed Sherrie Miller in 2001.
In 2007, Daly played at a tournament with red cuts on his face and claimed that Miller had attacked him with a steak knife, the BBC reported at the time. The couple split that same year.
Daly is also renowned as a huge fan of Hooters and first debuted themed trousers of the dining chain in the 1995 Open. He has regularly worn orange bottoms with the word ‘Hooters’ emblazoned on them. He even turned up at The Open in 2022 with a Hooters-themed golf bag and matching hat.
And during the tournament the following year at Royal Liverpool, he drowned his sorrows by visiting Hooters after missing cut, even posing for a group photo with the waitresses.
His extravagant lifestyle saw him twice go into rehab for alcoholism. His battle with booze resulted with Daly being taken into custody in 2008, with police releasing his mugshot after he passed out drunk at a Hooters in North Carolina. However, he was not arrested for the incident.
He has also previously estimated that he has lost over £50million gambling, according to the Daily Mail. The report also revealed that he smokes 40 Marlboros a day and drinks a dozen cans of Diet Coke.
Daly continues to play on the PGA Tour Champions and will tee off for The Tradition on Thursday at Greystone Founders Course just weeks after failing to make cut at the Senior PGA Championship.
