US President Donald Trump has boasted about acing presidential cognitive assessments three times, hitting out at Barack Obama and Joe Biden and calling for mandatory cognitive tests for all White House candidates
Donald Trump has launched a massive attack on Barack Obama and Joe Biden, boasting he has “aced” all three cognitive examinations undertaken during his presidency. He claims it is something that has “rarely been done before”.
Concerns have been raised by many in recent months regarding Trump’s health, something the US president has sought to repeatedly dismiss. Now, he has turned to Truth Social to launch an attack on two of his predecessors, insisting anyone standing for the White House should be “forced” to undertake a cognitive test before joining the election battle.
Mr Trump proceeded to boast he had sat the examination three times during his stint as president, and had sailed through all three with distinction, reports the Express.
He posted on Truth Social: “Anybody running for President or Vice President should be forced to take a Cognitive Examination prior to entering the Race! By doing so, we wouldn’t be surprised at people like Barack ‘Hussein’ Obama, or Sleepy Joe Biden, getting ‘ELECTED.’ Our Country would be a much better place!
“I took the Exam three times during my (‘THREE!’) Terms as President, and ACED IT ALL THREE TIMES – An Achievement that, even on a single Exam, according to the Doctors, has rarely been done before! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
Last year, the US President maintained he was in perfect mental and physical health, declaring that he had received a “perfect physical exam” alongside a comprehensive cognitive assessment.
He posted on Truth Social at the time: “There will be a day when I run low on Energy, it happens to everyone, but with a PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAM AND A COMPREHENSIVE COGNITIVE TEST (‘That was aced’) JUST RECENTLY TAKEN, it certainly is not now! GOD BLESS AMERICA & MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
