Several individuals have been injured in a stabbing incident at a high school, as per reports.
It’s being reported that at least six people have been hurt in the incident at Foss High School in Tacoma, Washington state on Thursday, April 30.
Police have confirmed that one suspect is now in custody.
Tacoma Police have stated that those injured include four students and one security guard, as reported by KVUE.
It is understood that the other person injured is the suspect.
The Tacoma Fire Department has confirmed that those injured have been taken to nearby hospitals, reports the Mirror.
The stabbing was reported just before 1.40pm and the school continues to be on lockdown.
Parents are reportedly being informed.
Foss High School was previously the scene of a shooting that resulted in the death of one student in January 2007. Students were evacuated from the building following the shooting incident.
