Model Elisabetta Tai Ferretto, 50, an early accuser who said Jeffrey Epstein exposed himself during a supposed professional meeting, has reportedly been missing since last month
A model who was among the first women to accuse paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein of sexual has not been heard from since last month. Elisabetta Tai Ferretto, 50, has seemingly vanished on April 22, with her worried family reporting her missing after their daily calls abruptly stopped.
Ferreto, from Italy, alleged the late disgraced businessman undressed in front of her during what she believed was a professional meeting. Ferreto had previously said that Epstein removed his clothes in front of her at his Manhattan home in New York, USA.
Speaking publicly in 2019, Ferreto said her booker had sent her to Epstein’s home, claiming the sex offender “would change her life”, the Sun reported.
She reportedly said she was told Epstein could help her land work as a Victoria’s Secret model. Ferreto said she arrived expecting a professional interview, but as she began discussing her experience, Epstein moved towards a massage table and started removing his clothes.
She recalled: “I thought he was preparing to have a massage, and that someone was about to come into the room and give him a massage.” She then claimed Epstein asked her to come closer and handed her a vibrator, as per the Sun.
Ferreto reportedly said she “froze” and, unsure what to do, “grabbed the vibrator and threw it at his head”. She added: “I mean, I don’t know where it landed, I just blacked out and then I ran as fast as I could out of the room.”
Ferretto said she was so frightened she struggled to find her way out, alleging she was at one point stopped by a woman with short black hair who grabbed her and demanded to know what she was doing, according to the Sun. Ferreto said: “She told me that I couldn’t just leave.
“She said that this man is important, that he is a friend of President Clinton.” Originally from northern Italy, Ferreto has lived in New York since 2001, as per the Sun.
She reportedly travelled to Veneto in early April to visit her brother and parents, but after returning to Manhattan, her family said contact suddenly tailed off.
Relatives say she has not answered calls and that her social media accounts appear to have been deleted or deactivated.
She was reported missing as an Italian citizen abroad in Rovigo, the Sun reported.
The New York Police Department reportedly said that “there are no complaint reports on file” related to Ferretto.
