Katie Price’s fourth husband, Lee Andrews, has been declared a missing person after the former glamour model filed a police report amid fears he may have been kidnapped in Dubai
Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, has now been declared a missing person. The ex-glamour model alleges that she suspects Lee has been abducted in Dubai.
A missing person report has subsequently been lodged with the police, five days after Katie last had contact with her fourth spouse. Over the weekend, Katie posted a video on her YouTube channel, expressing her worries for the safety of Andrews, whom she wed this year after only a few days’ acquaintance.
Insiders reveal that Katie is maintaining regular communication with Lee’s family as they anxiously await updates on his whereabouts. Katie last spoke to her husband on Wednesday evening, during which he told her that individuals were “coming for him”, that his hands had been bound, and that he was in the back of a van.
He has ceased answering her calls, and the location services on his mobile have been deactivated. “Lee is officially a missing person now,” a source told The Sun.
They added: “Katie is in constant contact with his family and is desperately worried. And she’s mortified — she’s seen people calling it a stunt and that she must be in on it, but she’s absolutely not. This is such a worrying, upsetting situation.” Lee had been due to fly from Muscat International on Monday night to appear on Good Morning Britain with Katie on Tuesday.
Despite sending a video to his wife and the ITV team showing him at the airport, he still failed to board his flight. Katie explained that matters relating to Lee’s alleged businesses had come to light, requiring his urgent attention.
Speaking directly to the camera on Saturday night, Katie said she had been “forced” to address the speculation surrounding her husband. “The truth is, Lee has been missing for three days,” she said, adding: “The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10 O’Clock, he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me.
“Lee was trying to get through the border near Hatta and, oh God, this is so discombobulating. His location went off at 10:03, Wednesday night, that’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and me. This is the third day now, obviously, he phoned me before the location went off. He’s in the middle of nowhere, obviously, I’m worried.”
Hatta is an enclave in Dubai, located high in the Hajar Mountains, around an hour from central Dubai. Katie went on to say that by Thursday, Lee was radio silent, and her messages were not being delivered. His family also reportedly raised concerns, prompting Katie and Lee’s family to contact the police in Dubai.
