Tess Daly and Vernon Kay are all smiles as they get together collectively after their cut up

Love-split Tess Daly and Vernon Kay were all smiles as they partied together at a festival despite their breakup. The pair, who announced their split after 23 years last week, posed with fans for selfies while Vernon flashed his wedding ring at Pub in the Park.

Former Strictly Come Dancing host Tess, 57, “seemed super happy” according to onlookers as she and ex Vernon enjoyed VIP treatment and the attention of revellers at the event in Marlow, Bucks.

And the pair were true to their word after saying last weekend that they “remain great friends” as they enjoyed each other’s company with a few drinks alongside pals including actor Will Mellor, while the likes of Craig David rocked the crowd.

An onlooker said: “Tess and Vernon were with four of their friends and seemed friendly. They seemed super relaxed, chatty and happy together.

“They enjoyed the festival, walking around for ages, then went to VIP. They stopped to pose for pics with fans.

“And Tess enjoyed a dance to Craig David at the VIP front of the stage while Vernon did his best dad dancing.”

The much-loved pair announced their separation with a joint statement on Instagram.

They said: “After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably.

“This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us.

“We remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority. There are no other parties involved in this decision.”

Pub in the Park turned Higginson Park in Marlow into a foodie and music lovers paradise for four days with awesome performances from Craig David, Gabrielle and McFly.
