Four-time F1 world champion Alain Prost, who drove for McLaren and Ferrari in a legendary career, has reportedly been injured in his home after masked men allegedly entered his home
A Formula One legend and four-time world champion has reportedly been injured after an alleged armed robbery at his home in Switzerland.
Alain Prost, who raced for Williams, McLaren and Ferrari in his career, was reportedly physically assaulted during the confrontation and suffered a head injury.
According to Swiss newspaper Blick, a group of masked intruders allegedly forced their way into the family home on on Tuesday (May 19) at around 8:30am.
The masked man, who were allegedly armed, reportedly also threatened Prost’s family and forced one to open the safe inside the Swiss property in Nyon, on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Blick reports that one of his son’s opened the safe and the contents were cleaned out. He publication also reports that the men immediately attacked Prost as they entered the property,
Thankfully, Prost’s injuries are thought to be minor, according to local reports from the country. The contents that were taken in the robbery are currently unknown.
