A vile bank manager has been jailed for forcing his girlfriend to sleep with almost 500 men for cash during a campaign of sick abuse.

Depraved Guillaume Bucci, 51, also raped and tortured Laetitia R., 42, over a seven-year period up until 2022. She was made to drink his urine, lick public toilets and suffered severe sleep deprivation as he only allowed her one full night of rest in every 10.

Grim details of his crimes were made public during a trial at the Digneles-Bains criminal court in the south of France. Laetitia bravely rejected his defence lawyers’ request for a closed-door trial.

She was inspired to go to the police by Gisèle Pelicot, who also waived her right to anonymity during her landmark trial which brought her husband to justice for recruiting men online to sexually abuse her after he drugged her in France.

Laetitia, 42, was forced to engage in degrading, violent and humiliating acts throughout their relationship between 2015 and 2022, the court was told. She suffered regular assaults with belts, cutting boards, electrical cables and strangulation.

Bucci forced her into prostitution between and made her keep a list of the clients. On the day she was discharged from the hospital after giving birth to their daughter in 2017, Bucci forced her to perform a sex act on a truck driver.

Laetitia wept as she told the court: “I stopped counting at 487. Some of whom I had seen up to 10 times. Little by little, I felt like I was dying inside.”

The court heard how he used the pretext of sadomasochistic sex games to take “psychological control of her,” according to prosecution evidence.

Laetitia said: “With each practice imposed, there was a part of me that broke permanently. I didn’t know how to get out of it. I thought to myself: If I do, maybe it will strike me less.”

Unlike Gisèle Pelicot, who was drugged by her sicko husband, Laetitia was kept awake on purpose as pat of the extreme abuse. She said: “He said I needed to realise what was happening to me. I remember everything.”

Laetitia, who now suffers from significant disabilities because of the abuse she endured, had also been raped by her stepfather between the ages of 7 and 11, which she reported to police when she was 17.

During the trial, Bucci admitted to several acts of torture, including strangulation and burning, but characterised their relationship as consensual sado-masochism.

But hundreds of text messages and voice messages were presented in court in which he threatened to kill her if she didn’t do as he said and proved she was acting against her will.

The court sentenced him to 25 years in prison, ruling that he must serve at least two-thirds of that before being eligible for parole. Prosecutors had requested a life sentence, saying there was a “risk of reoffending against another woman”.

The case comes a year and a half after Pelicot was sentenced to 20 years in prison for drugging and raping his wife during a nine-year period. She was raped by dozens of men he recruited on the internet.
