Liverpool are reportedly facing a busy summer as the Reds are said to be considering Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola as a potential Arne Slot replacement, while Curtis Jones is ‘prioritising’ a move to Inter Milan
Arne Slot’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain following the latest reports surrounding the Dutchman’s position at Anfield. The Reds manager oversaw a disastrous defence of their Premier League crown as they limped to fifth place with just 60 points – 24 fewer than they accumulated the previous campaign.
Slot faced relentless scrutiny throughout the season, though reports suggested that the club’s owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) maintained unwavering faith in the Premier League-winning boss.
The 47 year old has already started preparing for the summer window after expressing the necessity for a new winger following Mohamed Salah’s departure from the club. Nevertheless, that hasn’t quelled rumours of the Reds exploring the managerial market while a Reds star is reportedly eyeing an exit from Merseyside, reports the Mirror.

Arne Slot has 12 months remaining on his Liverpool contract but may struggle to see it through after reports surfaced that the Reds have approached Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, according to Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The former Premier League winners are believed to be weighing up their managerial alternatives, and with interest allegedly intensifying in the Spaniard, it promises to be a fascinating summer at Anfield.
Iraola, 43, has reportedly been approached by AC Milan as a potential successor to Max Allegri, with Sky Sports Italy claiming that along with Liverpool, the manager is attracting attention from Bayer Leverkusen and Crystal Palace.
Di Marzio indicated that discussions regarding Iraola would focus on future plans rather than an immediate appointment, as the Reds face the prospect of losing out on the manager if they opt to give Slot additional time to reverse their fortunes at Anfield.
With Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson heading for the Anfield exit, the club could reportedly be preparing to bid farewell to academy product Curtis Jones. According to Di Marzio, the Reds’ sporting director Richard Hughes jetted to Monte Carlo on Tuesday for discussions with Inter counterpart Piero Ausilio regarding a potential switch.
The Italian heavyweights were reportedly keen on the 25 year old during the January transfer window before Slot blocked the Liverpool-born midfielder’s departure.
Jones has merely one year remaining on his deal and is said to be “prioritising” a switch to Milan, claims transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, which would bring the curtain down on his 16-year journey with the club.
