Police are urgently appealing for information on missing Shropshire schoolgirl Chanelle, 15, who is believed to be with wanted man Kyle Brayne, subject to a prison recall
A missing schoolgirl from the Midlands is believed to be with a man who is wanted for a recall to prison, according to police.
Chanelle, aged 15, disappeared from her Shropshire home on Thursday, May 28. It’s believed she may be in the company of 24-year-old Kyle Brayne.
Brayne was the focus of an appeal by West Mercia Police in May as he was sought for a recall to prison.
He reportedly has connections to Birmingham, Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Telford, reports Birmingham Live.
West Mercia Police issued an appeal to locate Chanelle on Sunday, May 31, suggesting she might have travelled to Wales but could also be in Bridgnorth or Oswestry.
The force now states that the pair could be anywhere in Shropshire or Wales.
They said: “Officers searching for missing teenager Chanelle believe she may be with wanted man Kyle Brayne.
“Chanelle, who is 15, was reported missing on Thursday, May 28, and it is believed she may be in the Bridgnorth or Oswestry areas with 24-year-old Brayne.
“However, they could be anywhere within Shropshire, and suggestions have also been made that the pair may have travelled into Wales.
“Brayne is wanted by police on prison recall. Anyone who has seen Chanelle or Brayne is asked to 999 immediately. If you have any information on their whereabouts, please call 101.”
