A man and a woman were reportedly spotted running through the streets of Lupset in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, after they were allegedly seen near a parked Royal Mail van — but police found no one when they arrived
Two people have been seen sprinting through the streets in West Yorkshire while reportedly been completely naked.
Yesterday (June 8), a man and woman were witnessed dashing through the roads of Lupset in Wakefield. The couple had earlier been caught close to a stationary Royal Mail vehicle on Aysgarth Drive.
West Yorkshire Police were summoned to the location, but the duo had fled from the area. They were observed trying to climb into an Uber as it passed by, but the vehicle didn’t halt.
The force has now confirmed officers were dispatched to Lupset yesterday, though they have stated nobody was discovered during their hunt.
The police said: “At 5.03pm yesterday, police received a report of a naked man and woman running around the streets in the vicinity of Aysgarth Drive, Lupset, Wakefield.”, reports Yorkshire Live.
“Officers attended a short time later and searched the area, but no-one was found.”
The incident comes after another couple were also caught in a compromising position in West Yorkshire.
The couple were allegedly caught having sex inside a hair salon as gobsmacked Wetherspoons punters watched through the window.
The pair were reportedly spotted inside hair and beauty salon while drinkers at a neighbouring pub looked on in sheer disbelief. Video of the incident was captured by Gavin Proctor, 41, from Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
The couple could allegedly be seen through the salon’s front window, offering passers-by and patrons at a nearby Wetherspoons an unobstructed view of the antics.
As the encounter played out, astonished witnesses could be heard responding in the background. One person shouted: “He’s going for it! Look at that.”
Others could be heard swearing and laughing as they watched. The footage has since become a viral sensation online, clocking up more than 1.7 million views.
After the video’s circulation, the proprietors of the salon in question, Blu Hair and Beauty, acknowledged they were aware of the incident. In a statement, they said: “We are currently aware of a video circulating online involving a member of our team.
“The incident took place outside of our business operating hours and does not reflect the professional standards and values we uphold at our salon.
“We understand that some clients may have concerns and we want to reassure everyone that the matter has been addressed internally.”
