Deliveroo has launched the special pizza just in time for the World Cup and fans can get their hands on it for free
Looking for something a little special for a World Cup party – we may have found the perfect thing.
Deliveroo, along with former England legend Peter Crouch, has created a towering 6 ft 7 in pizza, matching the exact height of one of football’s tallest players, Crouch himself.
Named the Pizza Crouch the Crouchy commemoration hasn’t seen him immortalised in bronze but rather in the form of his favourite takeaway order: a pizza.
Made in partnership with the man himself, and wife Abbey Clancy, Pizza Crouch is three-quarters margherita, the robot dancer’s go-to pizza order, and one-quarter Hawaiian, a cheeky nod to Abbey’s favourite slice.
With each pizza containing 30 servings, there’s enough to feed every starting XI and then some, from kick-off to the final whistle.
Watch parties in London and Edinburgh can keep their eyes glued to the game, whilst Pizza Crouch makes its way through the city in a made-to-measure 6 ft 7 in pizza box, and custom Deliveroo teal delivery bag, keeping it piping hot en route to each customer.
