EXCLUSIVE: One of the UK’s most popular adult content creators has told the Daily Star about the abuse she’s received all her life and why she’s determined to profit from it
A successful adult content creator has hit back at critics who look down on her profession, pointing out the glaring double standards women face in today’s modern society. Enticing Emily exclusively told the Daily Star about her journey from a miserable vanilla job to making thousands on a popular adult site.
She revealed that the career shift has finally allowed her to take back control of the unsolicited attention she has endured for years. Discussing the stubborn stigma still attached to adult work, the creator admitted that the negative attitudes from the public frustrate her massively.
“I spent my whole life being harassed or receiving unsolicited attention from men – but somehow it’s wrong for me to profit off this financially where I’m in control of it?” she asked. She emphatically added that women simply “can’t win” under the current societal rules.
The model, who has chosen not to reveal her real name or show her face due to the potential of being doxxed over her real business, explained that society expects women to remain “ever youthful, perfect, desirable, sexy” but heavily criticises them the moment they monetise it. “It seems like in haters’ eyes, we’re only allowed to be sexualised and objectified IF we don’t have consent or autonomy over it,” she argued. “And that’s a greater problem of misogyny in our capitalist society, not the creators themselves.”
Emily believes that the men who are the loudest critics of OnlyFans tend to secretly be the biggest consumers of those very services. Calling their vitriol a projection, she pointed out that critics constantly ignore the basic rules of supply and demand. “We wouldn’t exist as creators if the demand wasn’t there to such a high degree that millions of girls could make money every month off it,” she noted.
Having been introduced to the industry through an ex-partner, Emily now produces solo content with a strong focus on “domme” and latex material. In an average month, she pulls in a total of £5,000, which she splits evenly with her agency to take home roughly £2,500. While her monthly income fluctuates, it has provided her with a level of financial freedom she never thought possible.
This career path is currently her main full-time source of income, but she is using the money to chase her entrepreneurial dreams. “Having the extra income earned from OF plus camming, helped me save enough to start my own business,” she explained. She has already set up a successful brand with great quality products, and is currently saving cash to re-invest into marketing.
Funding her own business through adult work feels incredibly freeing for Emily, especially after leaving a toxic workplace behind. “I wouldn’t have even been able to start my own brand if I stayed in my vanilla job,” she confessed. She noted she was constantly guilt-tripped into doing unpaid overtime and tasks entirely outside her job description, even on Christmas Day.
Fortunately, the creator isn’t overly concerned about her adult work harming her budding business ventures, as she operates within a creative industry that isn’t as judgemental as law or finance. “Not really as so far I’ve always received positive / non judgemental responses when people hear about it,” she admitted. She prefers not to bring it up unnecessarily, choosing instead to keep it as just one layer of her life.
For anyone considering a similar path, Emily strongly advises setting clear boundaries and adopting an alter ego to protect your real identity. “Don’t allow anyone to push you to do things you’re not comfortable with just because they will tip extra,” she warned. Despite her firm boundaries, she still receives unusual requests, including one fan who bizarrely paid for a custom explicit video just to hear her say his name and tell him she loved him.
