A monster who raped a dead body he found on an underground train carriage has been sentenced to five in prison. Felix Rojas, 44 was today found guilty of the heinous assault and robbery of Jorge Gonzalez, 37.

Back in April 2025, Gonzalez lost consciousness and died while riding the R train of New York’s subway. His body remained on a bench of a carriage for three hours before Rojas boarded the same train near Whitehall Street station.

Prosecutors said that once the creep noticed the man was dead, he measured his waist against Gonzalez’s mouth before “repeatedly thrusting his hips back and forth”. The court heard Rojas then pulled the dead man’s pants down, raped him before searching through his pockets

Rojas then pulled up the dead man’s pants and sat on the train’s bench for a few stops to avoid being caught.

Three weeks after the horrifying abuse unfolded, Rojas turned himself in accompanied by his son. The predator was identified after seeing CCTV footage of the incident.

During his sentencing for the horrific crime, Rojas refused to comment. The sicko took a plea deal including 15 years of supervised release after he serves his time behind bars.

Gonzalez came to the US almost 20 years ago and worked various jobs to help support his family back home. Gonzalez’s ex wife Teresa, 38, has pulled the lid back on her former partner and shared he deeply cared for his family.

She said: “He wasn’t just a random person, he was a father, he was a family man, he cared about his family in Mexico.”

The woman, who had been separated from Gonzalez for six years, added: “He did construction, he worked in kitchens, he worked as a waiter, he was a busboy. You know, anything you really could do to try to get ahead.”
