Cody Davies, 32, sent abusive voice notes to builder Kevin Phillips warning him to watch his own house and claimed she had previously been ”done for attempted murder”
An angry OnlyFans model threatened to ”chop up” a builder with a machete after she accused him of doing a botched flooring job at her home.
Cody Davies, 32, sent abusive voice notes to Kevin Phillips warning him to watch his own house, called him a ”black c**t” and claimed she had previously been ”done for attempted murder”.
When Mr Phillips requested she pay a £750 invoice for an epoxy resin floor he installed in November last year, Davies posted pictures of his work online, demanded he pay her £1,100 instead and declared: ”You should be ashamed of yourself mate.”
In an expletive laden rant on Facebook the mother-of-two raged: ”You’re f—— lucky I am not a man cos I would have smashed your head clean in.
“Look at the state u have left me in before Christmas! One cheeky c— this kid.
“Deserves everything coming to him. Trying to charge me £750 and I paid for the materials.
“Absolute s——. You took the absolute p— out of me, you f—— cowboy job.”
In a further post Davies went on: ”I wanna money today or a fight. I could not give a f— who is family or who is related to who.
“He knows where I live and I know where he lives and if he doesn’t get my £1,100 posted in an envelope by the end of today I’m gonna f— his own house. Show that to the police cos I’m not arsed.”
Mr Phillips subsequently filed a complaint to police and in a statement said: “She was calling me a s—— and saying she had paid for materials when she had not. I am afraid someone will try to cause damage to my property or cause my family harm.”
At Wirral magistrates court, Davies of Prenton near Birkenhead, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment and was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for a year with requirements she complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
She was ordered to pay £200 in compensation to Mr Phillips and was issued with a restraining order prohibiting contact with him for 12 months.
Earlier, Andy Page, prosecuting, said: “Mr Phillips is a building contractor who did some work for Miss Davies at her address installing epoxy resin flooring. During this time he sent frequent updates of progress and Miss Davies appeared happy with it.
”On December 1, Mr Philips sent his bank details along with an invoice for £750, the price both parties agreed prior to the work. She failed to pay the money and offered cash instead to which he agreed.
“But she never sent the electronic or cash payment. On December 12, he then received a threatening voice note over WhatsApp, that she was unhappy with the work.
“She wanted him to pay £1,100 back to her. He said he would not pay and asked for the money again but on December 13, he received more threatening voice notes from the defendant.
”She said she was going to ‘machete you up’ and ‘I will chop you up in my living room. I have been done for attempted murder before.’
“She called him a black c— and said ‘Watch what will happen to your house’ multiple times on voice notes. Mr Phillips blocked the defendant on WhatsApp and Facebook but his partner was later informed about posts the defendant had made online.
“She was posting images of work completed by Mr Phillips and threatened to post his address to people who ‘wanted to know’ and she also posted a message in which she said she ‘wanted the money or a fight’. Distress was caused to Mr Phillips as a result of the contact with the defendant.”
Davies was interviewed by police on December 14 and she told officers she was unemployed and had been living with her mother for six months. Mr Page added: “She said she was angry and upset about the quality of work Mr Phillips has completed.
“She then became agitated and screamed at the officer. The officer had to stop the interview.”
Davies had a previous conviction for a malicious communication. Her lawyer Paul Davison said: ”There was clearly some issue regarding the standard of work that was completed by the complainant.
“The defendant then dealt with that inappropriately and she accepts that. She acknowledges her wrong doing and she cannot turn back the clock .
“There is clearly a dispute and the defendant dealt with it very badly indeed.” Davies was also fined £60 and made to pay £239 in costs and surcharge.
