A woman has admittedly spent thousands on trying to achieve the “perfect body”, having forked out a lot of cash on various cosmetic procedures. Amira Evans, 26, opened up about her journey, which has even included having what’s deemed to be “designer private parts”.
The content creator, originally from Bristol, boasts over one million followers on Instagram, and has now spoken very candidly about why she decided to splash so much cash on the transformation. Talking about body image, Amira shared just why she thought it was such a good investment, confessing she thinks it’s the “smartest” move she’s ever made when it comes to her business.
It’s not the first time such a story has been shared either. In the past, another woman admitted she spent around £90,000 on trying to transform her look.
After undergoing a labiaplasty (a surgical procedure to reshape or reduce the size of the labia), breast augmentation (taking her from an A-cup straight to an F-cup), a Brazilian Butt Lift and other cosmetic procedures, Amira claims investing in her appearance has allowed her to build a successful career.
Amira said: “I was 22-years-old and my first surgery was the labiaplasty or ‘designer vagina’. I just didn’t really like how I looked down there.
“It was more for confidence and comfort as well. Before I had it done, I wasn’t comfortable wearing certain clothing, and it actually caused me a lot of discomfort. So, that was a very quick surgery that made a hell of a difference.”
Amira admitted the first surgery was funded by her ex, but all the other surgeries she’s undergone have been funded through her work. She makes saucy content online, so her subscribers are essentially funding her lifestyle, and she’s spent over £15,000 on transforming her look so far.
Before she started having surgery, she admitted she didn’t feel confident or attractive. She added: “I was slim with no boobs, no bum and no hips, so definitely not confident.”
While things have changed a little in this respect, she admits she still struggles with some things. There are times when she still compares herself to others.
When asked if she now feels comfortable in her own skin, she said: “I do, but I’m constantly comparing myself to other creators, and I see myself differently to how a lot of people see me.
“I believe there’s always something that I could do, or that I’m not completely happy with, but it’s what’s inside that is making me most confident. I know I’m a good person, and I know I’ll have a lot more to offer than just how I look on the outside.”
Even so, she admitted she plans to have further procedures. This year alone she plans to have two to “maintain her appearance”.
She said it’s something she wants to do, and she has the money, so she just thinks “why not?” As long as it’s safe she thinks it’s up to the person what they do.
Amira continued: “I do get a lot of compliments in person and online too. Obviously, I get a lot of troll and hate comments online, but they’re funny more than anything.
“I am more confident than I was when I was underweight without the surgeries.” When asked what her ultimate beauty goal is, she also noted: “First and foremost is just be healthy, but also to stand out from other creators and maintain how I look. But ultimately, to keep a healthy body and healthy mind.”
