‘Stabbing’ at UK vacation park after experiences of a combat breaking out as one hospitalised

A stabbing has taken place at a popular holiday park in Cornwall after reports of a fight breaking out on the site over the weekend.

One person, a man, was rushed to hospital with stab wounds, according to a spokesperson from Devon & Cornwall Police.

The force were called to Monkey Tree Holiday Park between Truro and Newquay around 2.40am on Saturday (June 27) after reports of a fight, reports CornwallLive.

One man was found with “stab wounds” and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, according to a police, who confirmed the incident in a statement.

Three men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

At the time of reporting, all three men have been released on bail as enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We were called at 2.40am on Saturday 27 June following a report of a fight at Monkey Tree Holiday Park near Newquay.

“One man was located with stab wounds and taken to hospital.”
