Ruth Langsford reunited with her Eamonn Holmes’ son Niall at Wimbledon on Wednesday (July 1). It comes ahead of Ruth and Eamonn’s reported £10,0000 divorce proceedings in the High Court.

Ruth and Eamonn announced their shock split in 2024 after 14 years of marriage and being together for 27 years. Ruth has opened up about their split and what it’s like being single again, while Eamonn has moved on with girlfriend Katie Alexander.

But it’s clear Ruth and her stepson Niall are still on good terms despite the difficult divorce, which is yet to be finalised. It had been reported that Eamonn’s kids, including son Niall, had expressed sympathy for the Loose Women star in the wake of their split.

And Ruth and Niall beamed as they posed for pics together at Wimbledon, as guests of Emirates, the official airline partner of the legendary tennis competition. Ruth looked elegant in a lime green blazer, and Niall opted for a navy shirt.

Eamonn and Ruth share their son Jack. Eamonn has three children – Niall, Declan and Rebecca – from his previous marriage to first wife Gabrielle. In a Father’s Day post, the GB News star gushed over his children alongside a pic of them, writing: “This is my Four.

“Niall, Jack, Rebecca and Declan. Proud to have them as my Children and I can only hope I make them proud to have me as their Dad.”

In her memoir Feeling Fabulous, Ruth discussed the impact of the split from Eamonn. She wrote: “The biggest emotion that threatened to swallow me up in the early days was sadness.

“When you have been with somebody for a long time – 26 years in our case – and had imagined what your future would look like, there is a sense of deep loss. She added that she expected to be with Eamonn “forever” and found the split “incredibly hard to come to terms with”.

Ruth added: “Suddenly, life was different, with no clue what the months and years ahead would look like. I am not happy my marriage is over, but I have accepted it. I think this has been the biggest turning point for me because fighting against the inevitable is exhausting and pointless.”
