Tennis star’s gorgeous blonde bombshell WAG earned greater than him at Wimbledon

While Arthur Fery carries Britain’s hopes at Wimbledon, 2025 semi-finalist Taylor Fritz stands as the sole American to reach the quarter-finals in the men’s singles.

The No.6 seed overcame countrymen Frances Tiafoe and Tommy Paul at SW19 before defeating Alexander Bublik in the fourth round to secure a last-eight clash with French Open champion Alexander Zverev. Fritz had previously formed one half of a power couple alongside long-term partner Morgan Riddle.

The duo parted ways earlier this year, though not before influencer Riddle accumulated a tidy sum during her then-boyfriend’s Australian Open run. Fritz progressed to the last 16 at Melbourne Park to earn £240,000. Yet that still fell short of the £251,000 Riddle pocketed from her online work, according to reports at the time.

“It’s almost a competition between us at Grand Slams and other tournaments to see who earns more money during the tournament,” Riddle, who regularly documented her life accompanying him on tour, once revealed.

“He’s always encouraged and supported me. That’s how we became a dual-income household.”

The pair had been an item for six years before calling it quits in the spring. The split seems to have been cordial, with Riddle sporting a ‘World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend’ t-shirt when announcing the news on Instagram.

“When public relationships end, it’s standard to do some sort of Instagram statement or video, and I tried to write that a few times and I was just like, ‘This is not me,'” she told Elle in June. “We’re on good terms, so I wanted to make it more light-hearted than break-ups usually are online.”

In the same interview, she set down a firm rule for her love life going forward, vowing: “I’ll never date an athlete again.”

This year, Fritz has already banked at least double what he earned in Australia. Wimbledon quarter-finalists pocket £480,000, while reaching the semi-finals would earn him £900,000. The winner gets £3.6million, with the runner-up getting £1.8m.

Following his victory over Bublik, the American was asked whether he intended to watch the clash between Zverev and Jiri Lehecka, which would decide his next opponent. Play was suspended on Monday due to Wimbledon’s 11pm curfew before the duo returned to complete the match on Tuesday.

“I’ll watch just because it will be on when I’m doing treatment. I typically don’t,” he said. “I like to watch through a different lens, though, once I know who I’m playing, because then I can be more specific about what I’m paying attention to.

“It’s different when I’m watching a match of two players. I can’t really… focus that hard on one of them. I’m more just kind of watching for the enjoyment of it.”
