With summer holidays coming up, shoppers are snapping up a beach blanket that is an Amazon’s Choice product – and it’s currently discounted in a limited-time deal. The Covacure Beach Blanket Mat is currently available from Amazon for £12.98, down from £17.99.
The blanket comes in the colour blue, measures 210cm by 200cm, and is designed with two side zipper pockets, one corner pocket and four fixed nails to secure it in place. It is made from a sand-proof and waterproof material that’s lightweight, too.
The listing says the blanket comes with a carabiner, so shoppers can ‘hang it on anywhere’, and there’s an included carry bag. The product could be perfect for the beach, camping, picnics or other outdoor activities, and there are two other colours available.

The Covacure Beach Blanket Mat has received an overall average rating of 4.2 out of five stars. One shopper said: “This product is everything that you could want in a beach blanket. It’s big (I never fully appreciated how big the blanket was until I laid it out onto the beach), sand-proof, water-resistant and has four pegs to hold it down in place. The blanket is easy to clean and never once struggled on a pebbled beach, on a windy day. There are four zip triangle pockets where you can put sand in to weigh the blanket down and it can be folded up into the pouch provided.”

While a third person added: “I cannot recommend this beach mat enough. Comes in an easy to pack away pouch, it’s lightweight considering the size, and easily attached to the ground. Two people can fit on it so easily. So easy to pack away, very handy, will be taking it with me to Tenerife in June.”
Others deducted stars, with one writing as part of a longer review: “It could do with a couple more zipped pockets on two sides to be perfect.” Another said: “I’m not overly keen on the colour options but no other issues to report.”
