delighted David Beckham was spotted singing his heart out in the stands after England’s quarter-final victory on Saturday, as the Beckham family turned out in force in Miami to cheer on the Three Lions.

Well, almost the entire family.

Eldest son Brooklyn was once again nowhere to be seen, signaling that the rift between him, his famous parents, and the rest of the Beckham clan shows no signs of easing. According to photos obtained by Page Six, Brooklyn also skipped his little sister Harper’s 15th birthday party on Friday in West Palm Beach, Florida. Harper celebrated the milestone with her parents, David and Victoria, her brothers Romeo and Cruz, and their respective girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel.

Despite both Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckhams currently residing in the US, the high-profile match was seemingly not the moment for a long-awaited family reunion.

When the final whistle blew on England’s tense 2-1 win over Norway, jubilant fans erupted into song, chanting the anthem that has become the soundtrack of the 2026 tournament. David was right in the thick of it, throwing an arm around his younger son Romeo as the pair belted out the Oasis classic alongside thousands of fellow England supporters.

The Beckham patriarch also caught the eye of fans on social media earlier in the day for his passionate rendition of “God Save the King.” Stadium cameras captured the former England skipper enthusiastically singing the national anthem beside Victoria—a stark, much happier contrast to just days earlier, when he was spotted reacting dramatically to a crucial Harry Kane miss against Ghana.

Beckham’s attendance at the fixture followed his hosting of England’s squad at his Inter Miami training ground in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, throwing open the Florida Blue Training Center before the team’s quarter-final showdown with Erling Haaland and Norway.

Footage of Beckham joining in spread across X, with supporters responding positively to the scene.

One user quipped that the television director’s decision to cut to Beckham during the anthem was logical “because we all know that’s the king we’re really singing about,” reported the Mirror US.

Others highlighted the unusual sight of Victoria at a football match, with one fan posting, “You know it’s serious for David Beckham tonight if he managed to convince Victoria to watch a match.”

Further comments applauded the pair’s display of patriotism, with one describing them as “a true power couple showing respect during the national anthem.”

Beckham, who acts as president and co-owner of Inter Miami, was accompanied at the Fort Lauderdale session by his sons Romeo and Cruz, and made time to chat individually with numerous players, including skipper Harry Kane, before England stepped onto the pitch for training.

Kane subsequently described the visit as a significant morale lift for the team.

“He just wished us luck. After most games, he messages me and we stay in touch,” Kane said. “He’s obviously a big England fan. We know how much it meant for him to play for England and be captain. He was there to support us.”

He added: “We were obviously using his home, the home he’s built, so we appreciate him doing that for us. Ultimately, it was good to catch up with him and for the other lads to have a chat with him. He is an English legend, he was wishing us well and hopefully we can do him proud tomorrow.”

Beckham, who earned 115 caps for England during a playing career spanning Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain, led the national team for six years and remains one of English football’s most iconic figures.

He has kept making appearances throughout this summer’s World Cup, tracking England’s progress closely as Thomas Tuchel’s squad pushed towards a third consecutive quarter-final showing.
