England are one game away from the final

England’s Three Lions didn’t really march into the semi-finals during an uninspiring win over Norway on Saturday evening, thanks to a double from Jude Bellingham.

Thomas Tuchel’s side needed extra time to beat Erling Haaland and Co, and that win soon set-up a semi-final with Argentina – who England last played in 2005. However, the two results were the only stories of the evening that was filled with controversary and red cards.

Norway’s bench was left furious when they claimed the ball hit one of the spider cam cables in the build-up to Bellingham’s equaliser. Daily Star Sport rounds up all the news from overnight.

He also took to social media platform X in the early hours of Sunday morning to suggest Norway were ‘robbed’.
