Brand Bellingham set to explode because of his ‘American’ winner’s mentality, according to marketing execs.

They put the Three Lions’ ace in the same league as football superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland following his World Cup performances. That puts him in enroute to becoming the new David Beckham.

Jude has already secured endorsement deals from brands ranging from Adidas to Kim Kardashian’s Skims clothing line.

Roger Bennett, founder of US-based Men In Blazers football media network, said Bellingham’s winners’ mentality and knack for knocking in vital goals has made him a hit with corporate America.

In a Daily Star ‘guess the England player’ quiz in home to the stars Beverly Hills the only footballer every American guessed was Bellingham – ahead of captain Harry Kane.

Roger said: “His mentality is so rare for an Englishman. He actually has an American mentality.

“He sees himself as a winner and is willing to talk about himself that way with a cocksure confidence that many English people have a difficult relationship with but Americans love.”

Since starting his career at Birmingham City, Jude has played more matches outside the UK than in it – joining Germany’s Borussia Dortmund at 17 before moving to Real Madrid for £108m in 2023.

Sports marketing consultant Tim Crow said in building a career across different countries Bellingham had broadened his brand just like Beckham who played for Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and LA Galaxy after leaving Manchester United.

Becks remains top draw for brands 13 years after he hung up his boots.

Bellingham, 23, helped propel Real’s commercial revenues to a record £504m last season – up 23%.

A silhouette of his signature goal celebration – with his head up and arms outstretched – has been featured on Adidas hats and tracksuits as well as bottles of Lucozade.

He has also featured on the cover of best-selling football video game EA Sports FC and modelled for Louis Vuitton.

Sam Handy, general manager at Adidas’s football division, said: “Jude has that aspirational quality that all good brands look for as an ambassador.

“Anyone who has ever met him will tell you his demeanour is incredibly polite, humble and professional.

“That said, he has an edge, an aura, that makes him comfortable under pressure. It’s clear for him that every moment to step on the pitch is a chance to show the world what he can do and express himself.”
