BeardMeatsFood – also known as Adam Moran – rocked up to Manchester’s Ciaooo Pizzeria with the sole intention of completing their nausea-inducing 6kg of tiramisu challenge
A YouTuber took on a ridiculous 6kg of tiramisu challenge…and just about survived the ordeal.
Adam Moran, better known as BeardMeatsFood, is an English competitive eater and YouTuber from Leeds. He’s carved out a huge online following for his stunts such as eating incredibly spicy chicken wings, or noshing down a 75oz steak with mac n’ cheese.
In a YouTube video posted to his account yesterday, Adam, 41, attended Manchester’s Ciaooo Pizzeria – an establishment which hosts a tiramisu-eating challenge where you have to force down an entire wheelbarrow of the desert in under half an hour.
Just the mere thought is vomit-inducing, but the reality is something far darker. That’s a lot of dairy – and don’t even get us started on the caffeine intake, which would be enough to “fell an elephant.”
Adam was presented with the wheelbarrow full of tiramisu and dutifully began chomping his way through. By the five minute mark, he said he felt regretful about taking part in the challenge…by the half-way mark there was a certain nausea floating about.
Although he’d made decent headway into the wheelbarrow – polishing off around two thirds by 15 minutes – Adam really started struggling as the clock ticked past 20 minutes, as the weight of what he’d embarked upon started hitting him.
It was at this point where Adam recruited the support of his cameraman, who also got stuck into the wheelbarrow. Ciaooo’s stipulations state that the challenge can be completed as a pair, which meant that it was within the rules for Adam to bring on support.
In a tense finish – not unlike England’s semi-final against Argentina last week – the duo of northerners heroically managed to complete the challenge with just over two minutes left on the clock.
“I don’t think I’ll be wanting desert again for quite some time,” muttered Adam afterwards, resembling a sort of desert-walrus with strands of tiramisu lining his long black beard.
In 2024 Britain’s best-known competitive eater named the hardest eating challenge he has ever done – and it ended with him s****** himself.
It took place at the now-closed Holy Moly’s Deep South Kitchen restaurant and it involved gorging two giant buns filled with Bockwurst sausages topped with chilli and cheese.
The meal (if you can call it that) weighed a ‘daft’ 11-and-a-half pounds and it took Beard three separate attempts to finally complete it.
