A stunning England WAG found herself in “airport hell” as she tried to travel home from the World Cup after the Three Lions beat France
Scorching hot WAG Megan Pickford was trapped in ‘airport hell’ after her flight home from the World Cup got cancelled despite being sat on the runway for six hours.
The mother-of-three and wife of England number one Jordan Pickford was dealt a nightmare journey back to the UK. The WAG had been in the states with her family cheering on the Three Lions up until their final win against France to confirm a third-place finish at the tournament.
Despite enjoying the time across the pond, the 30-year-old has now revealed all about her experience in ‘airport hell’. Megan was allegedly trapped in JFK Airport for 24 hours after her flight home was cancelled on the runway.

According to the WAG she was sat on the plane with her kids for six hours behind a queue of 30 other aircrafts waiting to take off. On Sunday (19 Jul) she revealed on social media that the flight was then cancelled due to the staff exceeding their flight time limits.
Following the blunder, the terminals were littered with sleeping travellers and baggage reclaim stations, as reported by NeedToKnow. The mum even admitted at 4am that she was ‘ready to join these sleepy vibes’.
Luckily they booked onto another flight, which sadly didn’t take off for another six hours. Megan and her children then finally caved in and had a kip in the airport.
The WAG even bought an “I heart NY” hoodie to keep her warm in the ‘freezing’ terminal. On Sunday, Megan boarded her second flight – where she sat in economy.
Unfortunately, the travel horrors didn’t stop there as the plane was once again stuck on the runway for two hours. The 30-year-old claimed this was due to a ‘missing part’.
The last update from the ‘chief WAG’ came on the flight. Megan said: “Spend 24 hours with me in airport hell. Just waiting for Ant and Dec to jump out and tell me it’s all a wind up.”
Fans were worried sick about the star, with some even claiming Jordan should’ve booked her a ‘private jet’. One viewer said: “You deserve a medal queen.”
Another person commented: “Airports in the USA are a nightmare.” One other person said: “Urgh couldn’t think of anything worse with kids.” One viewer added: “No this isn’t how our chief WAG should be treated.
