A couple were spotted using a leaf blower as a giant fan to keep cool as temperatures soar once again in the UK.
With temperatures reaching a high of 33C today (July 29), one pair found a creative way to stay sweat-free while enjoying the outdoors. The couple were spotted relaxing in the park, with one holding up a leaf blower and using it as an oversized fan to create a much-needed breeze.
On social media, one person joked that the pair were the ‘UK heatwave final bosses’ while another shared a photo of the pair with the caption ‘this couple is living in 2036’.
One wrote: “That’s kind of genius tbf.” Another commented: “Send one my way. Try being menopausal in hot weather. I remember March was nice. That’s my last lovely memory of weather.”
A third added: “The leaf blower may come in handy tonight.” It comes as the UK experiences the hottest day of the week, with warm weather once again sweeping across the country.
The bizarre sight turned out to be a playful stunt by Aldi as it launches a range of garden must-haves on August 13, including its Electric Leaf Blower for £29.99. The supermarket says its Specialbuy is perfect for clearing garden debris, leaves and outdoor spaces with ease.
