Drunk cruise passenger ‘punched two children in face and abdomen’ as they performed tag

A drunk passenger on the Carnival Glory cruise was arrested for child abuse after allegedly punching two kids playing tag as CCTV captured the attack

A dream cruise turned into a horror show after a drunk passenger allegedly punched two kids playing tag in a hallway. Law enforcement officials say that 44-year-old David Crosby II was sprinting down a hallway alongside three youngsters on board the Carnival Glory vessel in Florida.

However, the fun took a violent turn when Crosby “suddenly stopped running and struck” two of the youngsters, according to a police affidavit obtained by People magazine.

Police say one victim was left nursing a bleeding lip and head pain after being hit in the face, while another youngster was struck straight in the stomach.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office confirmed details of the alleged unprovoked assault, revealing that CCTV cameras fixed inside the ship’s corridor caught the incident on camera.

When officers confronted Crosby, the Georgia man reportedly admitted he was “heavily intoxicated” and claimed to have no recollection of what happened.

It remains unclear how old the youngsters involved are, or whether Crosby was known to them prior to the incident.

Following the ship’s arrival, the suspect was hit with child abuse charges and carted off to Brevard County Jail.

Official records show he has since walked free after posting a $20,000 bond.
