King Charles is reportedly furious with Prince William and Kate Middleton after the pair allegedly snubbed Queen Camilla at a recent royal engagement, with an insider claiming the King has hit back
King Charles has delivered Prince William a “public sign of defiance” by leaving the door ajar for Prince Harry’s return to the royal family, according to an insider.
The audacious gesture emerges amid reports of a bitter falling-out between the Prince of Wales and Queen Camilla. Royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner has alleged the King is furious after William and Kate Middleton supposedly displayed disrespect towards his wife.
Tensions allegedly reached boiling point at a recent engagement where the Waleses supposedly swept past Camilla without curtsying or bowing. This follows revelations about the 3-letter word that sparked Harry and William’s feud – and how Meghan made it worse.
“I have heard there does not seem to be much family love between Camilla and William and Kate,” Pelham Turner told Express US. “They recently walked past the Queen without curtsying, which many interpreted as a public gesture of defiance.
“Charles will stand wholeheartedly by his wife,” Pelham Turner added. “Harry coming back is the first sign I feel of his public defiance in return.”, reports the Mirror US.
According to the source, Charles went “out of his way” to accommodate Harry and his family during their recent visit to the U.K. That gesture of goodwill reportedly did not sit well with William and Kate, sparking the frosty standoff with Camilla. Yet Charles remains resolute, apparently determined to remind William that the crown has not yet been transferred to him.
He has encouraged the family to maintain a unified appearance rather than permitting their disagreements to unfold publicly. “For the people, the Royal Family must be seen as a strong unit,” Pelham Turner cautioned.
He added, “Rather than a real-life version of the Netflix drama The Crown.”
Meanwhile, William is allegedly “very angry” with Harry following one blunder that is “hard to overlook.”
This follows the Duchess of Sussex accepting the position of guest judge for MasterChef Australia’s 18th season, with aspiring chefs challenged to transform an ordinary ingredient into a dish “fit for a duchess.”
She appeared alongside MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli on the panel. Meghan’s stint on the culinary programme left the contestants “frazzled” and “blushing,” though it remained unclear at the time how audiences received the duchess’ participation.
Now, audience figures for the latest episode have been revealed, and the statistics are telling. Meghan’s MasterChef Australia episode attracted a staggering 1.6 million total TV viewers.
The programme broke records for the biggest overnight Sunday viewership since July 2023 and secured the highest-ever overnight streaming audience, capturing 118,000 viewers, according to data published by broadcaster Network 10. The episode also topped the seven-day Total Viewing charts with 1.22 million viewers across the country.
