Donald has sent the internet into meltdown once again after eagle-eyed observers spotted his hand looking “mangled”, sparking wild new health theories. During a public appearance on Wednesday, onlookers completely forgot about politics and became transfixed by his hands instead.
The 80-year-old US President was speaking as he signed a piece of stone near the White House helipad construction site on the South Lawn in Washington, DC.
The landing pad will allow the new Lockheed Martin Corp. VH-92 helicopter designed to carry the president to land without damaging the grass.
However, it wasn’t the construction work that got people talking. After a close-up snap of Trump’s right hand was posted to X (formerly Twitter) by journalist Aaron Rupar, it went viral within minutes.
Sharing the photograph, Rupar wrote: “Trump’s mangled hand as photographed today at the White House.”
