A worryingly smug Vladimir Putin beamed with pride as he addressed his political allies – just as Russia unleashed a 10,000-tonne “doomsday” nuclear submarine capable of wiping out Britain with a massive tsunami. Putin boasted to his political inner circle that the nation’s political system remains “stable” in the face of “external threats” – while his military machine prepares a terrifying tool of destruction.
