Glamorous football fan Arabella Mia has been left furious with Elon Musk after claiming she was “demonetised” on his social media platform.
Arabella, who has been dubbed ‘Arsenal’s biggest female fan’, has built a huge following on social media in recent years. But while she has used X to interact with fellow Gunners supporters rather than push her own content, the Arsenal superfan says she has still been booted from the platform’s monetisation programme.
Speaking to Daily Star Sport ahead of Arsenal’s season opener against Coventry City, Arabella revealed: “I just had my Twitter [now known as X] completely demonetised.

“I’ve been kind of lurking in the shadows for a bit because it’s kind of a process. Because my Twitter account is fully all about football, but I was demonetised for sexual content and behaviour.”
Arabella even joked the social media platform had flagged a photo that she posted of Saka’s new haircut – which has gone viral on other creators’ posts.
“I’ve been arguing to the depths of hell with Twitter at the moment because I’m like, is it because I’m a woman?” she continued.
“Well, we know it’s because I have an Only Fans account, but it’s like, my Twitter doesn’t directly sell that, if that makes sense, so there’s no actual push for it. It’s just there!
“So yeah, I basically lost out on my entire account. It’s been completely shadow-banned, so even Arsenal fans wouldn’t see my updates anyway…”
Now based in Australia, she can no longer regularly interview Arsenal fans outside the Emirates Stadium – a staple of the content that helped establish her profile on the platform.
And her move Down Under means X is more important than ever when it comes to connecting with fellow Gunners. Thankfully, there is a small but dedicated Arsenal contingent close to her new home.
“I got invited to a couple of pubs in Sydney, and there are a couple of them in Brisbane that actually show the Arsenal games at that time!”
However, for their opener, that would have meant a very early alarm – and Arabella admitted Coventry were one of the teams she would have loved to have seen live.
Instead, she could find herself making a trip on the road when Arsenal travel to Coventry for the reverse fixture later in the season.
And when she does return to the Emirates this season, Arabella has an idea that might please Arsenal fans: “I’m going to do something special when I get there…But I don’t want to give it away!
“A couple of years ago, for Christmas, I sent about 200 people Arsenal shirts. So this year, I’m going to try and do something to give back to fans as I did then!”
