Liverpool’s summer spending is set to skyrocket after the Reds have agreed a deal to sign Bradley Barcola for an eye-watering £120m
Liverpool and PSG have reached an agreement over Bradley Barcola – which will see the French star move to Anfield to the tune of £120million.
The Reds have seemingly tracked the French winger, 23, all window, and with the deadline rapidly approaching there was a breakthrough in communications on Wednesday evening. And the two clubs have now agreed on a package that will see Liverpool stump up £100m upfront with £20m worth of add-ons.
According to The Athletic, important last details are being ironed out on Thursday morning. Barcola has two years remaining on his contract at the Parisian giants, but report suggest he had made it clear he did not want to extend his deal.

He had found his minutes limited at the Parc des Princes as he was in direct competition Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue for a spot on the flank.
However, he was still able to find the net 13 times and chip in with seven assists as they won Ligue 1 and the Champions League last season. He also prominent role for France at this summer’s World Cup, appearing in all eight matches and scoring three goals.
Barcola now faces the sizeable task of filling Mohamed Salah’s boots – with the iconic Egyptian leaving Liverpool this summer when his contract ran out.
The deal might also have a knock-on effect for the future of Cody Gakpo – who has been linked with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the past week.
Gakpo, 27, has been key to the Liverpool squad over recent years – but he has emerged as a target for free-spending Spurs, who have already acquired the services of Savinho and Omar Marmoush.
However, with both wingers leaving City for north London, Enzo Maresca’s side have emerged as a surprising potential destination for the Dutch winger.
