US President Donald Trump has once again shared a bonkers new artificial intelligence (AI) video showing an army of gun-toting “Donald Ducks”.

The Canada Geese, rocking his trademark blond hair, come as his latest bizarre twist in the US-Canada trade and tariff war. Just when it felt like the political theatre couldn’t get any more childish, the orange man-baby reposted a 34‑second clip on his Truth Social before heading off for a weekend golf outing.

The AI-made video is set to the Hawaii Five-O theme as muscular geese – bizarrely altered with human arms – march in step along a waterfront clutching assault rifles. The birds then start firing their automatic weapons into the air while fireworks explode over a skyline that looks a lot like Toronto, in Canada.

The clip finishes with the following message: “Lake America – Protected by Donald Ducks.” It’s a direct jab at Canada after Trump signed a controversial executive order telling US federal agencies to refer to Lake Ontario as “Lake America” in official records.

Canadian tabloid the Toronto Sun described the spat as a “trade tiff” of “words and memes” but noted this is the first time the economic standoff has been shown as a shooting war, even if it’s only animation. Trump reposted the AI ducks on Saturday (August 29), and “by early afternoon, it already had more than a thousand ‘re-truths’ and nearly six thousand likes”, the Toronto Sun reported.

Hours later, Trump doubled down by sharing a second AI clip showing him knocking over a “Welcome to Lake Ontario” sign, replacing it with “Welcome to Lake America”, then dancing to the Village People hit YMCA.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford hit back by installing a permanent “Lake Ontario” sign along the border and insisting it is “Lake Ontario, now and forever”.

This comes after reports that Trump could go to war with the UK over the Falklands. The US could oppose Britain’s claim to the Falklands if Andy Burnham does not increase his defence budget, the Daily Star previously reported.

The UK is being pushed towards Nato’s 5% spending pledge on defence, with Washington officials heaping pressure on the Prime Minister and his chancellor John Healey.

Healey was reportedly branded a “sell-out” and accused of valuing “welfare over warfare” by one official, as talks between the two nations on defence continue.

The White House insider refused to rule out whether Trump may “review” his position on Britain’s sovereignty of the Falklands.
