Premier League clubs are facing a race against time if they want their deals done before Tuesday’s 11pm deadline.
There are still some major deals that need to get over the line, as weaknesses were exposed during the opening two weeks of the Premier League. Liverpool are edging closer in their pursuit of Bradley Barcola, while Manchester United are in desperate need of a full-back.
Manchester City could still splash some clash, with the Etihad Stadium looking like it could welcome two new stars. And Daily Star Sport is looking at 12 deals that could get over the line before Tuesday evening…

Andoni Iraola is still looking for his Mohamed Salah replacement with PSG star Bradley Barcola looking like he could be the man to fill his boots. The Frenchman, 23, will cost a pretty penny as PSG and the Reds have agreed a £123m deal for his move.
The Reds are also locked in negotiations with AS Saint-Etienne over highly rated forward Djylian N’Guessan, 18. According to French reports, Liverpool could land him for around €12.5m [£10.7m] after Chelsea’s €8m [£6.85m] was rejected last summer.
And Iraola’s business doesn’t look like it’s ending there – with the Reds also closing in a deal for Lucca Brughmans, 18. According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have reached a “verbal agreement” for the shot-stopper.
The Reds are seemingly keeping their options open out wide, and they have also enquired about Brighton’s 22-year-old star Yankuba Minteh. Recent reports suggest a third bid is imminent amid the Seagulls’ £60m asking price.
However, there are still some departures that could take place from Anfield – with Cody Gakpo “deciding to join Manchester City”, according to The Athletic. Fabrizio Romano has revealed a £70m price tag has been set by Liverpool for the 27-year-old.
City are also looking to get a deal for Enzo Fernandez across the line before the deadline. However, if Enzo Maresca wants to reunite with Fernandez, 25, it will cost City an eye-watering £120m.
Arsenal’s attention might be on their Premier League clash with Aston Villa – but Mikel Arteta is still interested in the services of Julian Alvarez, 26, with reports suggesting he could cost between £85m and £128m. However, the wantaway Argentine isn’t too keen on a move to the Gunners.
Victor Osimhen, 29, is another option for Arteta up front – the Galatasaray star, who has had a price tag of around £55m, is a cheaper alternative to Alvarez.
While Gabriel Martinelli, 25, looks like he’s heading in the other direction as the Gunners agreed a £55.7m sale to Al Hilal.
Gabriel Jesus also looks set to be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium. Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that the Gunners have accepted an £8.57m bid from the La Liga champions for the 29-year-old’s services.
Meanwhile, Manchester United need a left-back, and have been heavily linked with Lewis Hall, 21, who has impressed at Newcastle. Hall, however, won’t come cheap and United might have to pay north of £70m.
Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk is set to leave Chelsea on loan before the transfer window closes, also according to Fabrizio Romano. He has been linked with Leeds United, but reports suggest there has yet to be an approach.
