Wolves star Rodrigo Gomes has the perfect inspiration from his jaw-dropping girlfriend after netting a brilliant brace.
Gomes joined Wolves in 2024 from Estoril in his native Portugal but struggled to nail down a place in the Old Gold’s starting line-up after playing just 22 times in the league last season as Wolves suffered relegation to the Championship.
But the 23-year-old has started the new season in fine form and is looking to spearhead the Molineux club’s promotion charge after netting a four minute brace in the 4-1 win over Stoke on Saturday from a right-wing role he wants to make his own.

Gomes pounced on Viktor Johansson’s parry to score the equaliser following Sam Gallagher’s rocket opener from 30 yards out after just 80 seconds.
The former Portugal youth international completed the quick turnaround when he was first to react to another saved shot, this time finding the roof of the net on the swivel, with his passionate celebration showing just how much the goals meant to him.
And that added incentive to find the back of the net comes from the stands with his stunning girlfriend Clara Motta Guedes in attendance.
The Portuguese model, who is also the CEO and founder of swimwear company Clarity The Label, posted snaps to her over 100,000 followers of her wearing a busty low-cut top and a Wolves flag wrapped around her waist.
Clara has been enjoying her summer, travelling around England to visit London and Shropshire after heading back to her homeland and enjoying a sunkissed trip to Mallorca with Gomes where she styled many eye-popping bikinis.
She also paid a touching birthday message to her lover on his 23rd birthday, sharing snaps of them throughout the years and adding the caption: “The love of my life turns 23.
“It’s crazy to think you were only 19 when we started dating. We were just babies… I’m so happy and grateful to share my life with you.
“You are the kindest human being I’ve ever met. You bring happiness to every room you walk into, and I think my smile whenever I’m with you says it all.
“You inspire me every single day with how dedicated you are to your dreams. I love you to the moon and back × 1716273837. Happy birthday.”
Gomes replied: “Thank you my love, thank you for being the best person I could ask for by my side, I love you so much, together forever and ever.”
Wolves fans will be hoping that Clara will be in attendance in the coming matches after Gomes’ inspired form. Following his brace, Gomes told the club: “It’s always good to score goals and help the team win.
“The most important thing is the pack, the team, and I’m very happy to help with goals. Hopefully I’ll score more and get more assists, and there’s more goals to come.
“During my short career I’ve scored a few goals like that. Even last season, the first goal I scored was after a penalty, and Aston Villa here as well after a deflection. I’m always alive in those situations, it’s not the most beautiful goal in the world but it’s a goal, it counts, and I’m very happy.”
“It was perfect. Of course, we were winning and scored for 3-1, then enjoyed the game. We controlled the game and did our things, we did our patterns, our work, the things that we’d been working on since the first day of pre-season. We’re playing very good and need to keep this momentum.
“The ambience at Molineux was amazing, the fans helping us. We conceded first but they never left us, they were with us the whole game and we’ll need that. It’s going to be a tough season, a big season, and we need them by our side and keep performing. Us together, we’ll do a very good season.”
