Isolated tyrant Vladimir Putin faces total abandonment by key allies as leaders like India’s Modi demand an immediate end to his ‘failed’ Ukraine invasion
Vladimir Putin could face being brutally stabbed in the back by his closest global partners as patience with his “failed” invasion of Ukraine runs dry. Key allies have already delivered humiliating public blows to the isolated Kremlin dictator, demanding an immediate end to the senseless violence.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed a scathing broadside against the Russian tyrant, insisting he needs to end the carnage “for the sake of humanity.”
In a deeply uncomfortable exchange, a visibly rattled Putin yanked out his translation earpiece before meekly responding: “Thank you very much, Mr Prime Minister. We are moving in that direction.”
It comes after Modi previously warned the despot that “a solution cannot be found on the battlefield…peace talks do not succeed amid bombs, guns and bullets.”
International affairs expert James Brown told the Sun: “From their perspective, Putin has failed in his attempt to dominate Ukraine.”
He added that “Russia has partners of convenience, there are few shared principles, there is little sense of solidarity.”
A string of world leaders have turned up the heat on the paranoid leader. Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said: “It is a shame; young people are dying…All this has to be stopped.”
Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov said: “We advocate for peace and an immediate end to military actions through negotiation.”
Meanwhile, China’s Xi Jinping has repeatedly pushed for a ceasefire despite propping up Moscow’s economy with vital trade lifelines.
Geopolitics expert Kristina Spohr warned that Beijing’s support relies purely on mutual benefit. “Russia gets investments, and China gets access to raw materials and gets markets to sell its high tech,” she told The Sun.
Experts warn the fragile web of support would instantly shatter if the desperate tyrant pulls the nuclear trigger.
“When you talk about the use of a nuclear weapon, I think even Xi Jinping would be on his [Putin’s] case,” Spohr said.
Brown agreed that an atomic strike would instantly convert “the policy of toleration from New Delhi and Beijing” straight into active “opposition.”
With rumours circulating that terrified Putin fears he will be hanged if he loses, the cornered tyrant is increasingly relying on North Korea for troops and Belarus as a launchpad.
If his remaining transactional “friendships” crumble under the strain, the helpless Russian leader will be left totally exposed.
