A resurfaced clip shows Barack Obama poking fun at Donald Trump, saying he probably never changed a nappy before suggesting he may wear one – and social media users are going wild for it
Barack Obama brutally mocked ‘poo smelling’ Manbaby Donald Trump for never changing a nappy – apart from his own. A resurfaced clip shows Obama discuss buying diapers after his eldest daughter Malia was born.
As he discusses the cost of living, he jokes: “I remember the first time I went into the store. I was like… ‘What?’ Do you see how much diapers cost? I remember buying diapers. Do you think Donald Trump has ever changed a diaper?”
Crowds chuckled during the the speech – which he gave during the 2024 Presidential campaign – when one wag shouted out “his own”. Obama, himself laughing, said: “I almost said that, but decided not to.”
The clip is being widely shared on social media two years on from the rally in Pittsburgh, where he was campaigning for Democrat candidate Kamala Harris.
One Twitter user said: “Setting up a joke, letting a fan finish the punchline, and then claiming you ‘decided not to say it’ while giggling at the microphone is top-tier political comedy. Bro has mastered the art of the un-said insult.”
Another said: “Obama knew exactly where that joke was going and still kept it classy. That “I almost said that” was the perfect punchline. Some people lead with insults; Obama leads with wit.”
A third replied to the clip, posting: “Thank you for reminding me what it’s like to smile a real, warm, and genuine smile when listening to a President speak.”
The resurfacing of the clip comes after wild claims emerged Trump “poos himself so much you can smell him around the corner” amid fears his health is in severe decline. But not everybody seemed to agree the Orange Manbaby changed his own nappy.
One Twitter user suggested that was actually a job for his ‘Nappy Nurse’ Natalie Harp, the fiercely loyal aide who never seems to leave his side. They wrote: “Sorry, Mr. President [Obama]. That’s Natalie’s job.”
Harp earned her crude nickname after it was claimed the large black tote bag she regularly carries is filled with adult nappies for Trump.
She is also dubbed the “human printer” for constantly trailing Trump to hand him hard copies of flattering news stories and cherry-picked data.
And she was recently seen by eagle-eyes wags online clutching a mysterious black rectangular gadget, sparking wild rumours that it was a device keeping the President awake and alert during meetings.
