Aldi is giving shoppers the chance to win a share of £1,000 in shopping vouchers after maintaining its unbroken winning streak as the UK’s cheapest supermarket

The latest independent analysis from consumer champion Which? confirmed Aldi as the UK’s cheapest supermarket for August 2026, based on a basket of 92 popular grocery items. The victory secures a 100% record in 2026 and extends Aldi’s unbeaten run to ten consecutive months, dating back to November 2025.
According to Which?, a basket of 92 items at Aldi cost just £159.36 saving shoppers up to £30.09 compared to Tesco, £26.19 compared to Sainsbury’s (even with loyalty discounts applied), and a massive £64.39 compared to Waitrose.
The result builds on Aldi being named Which?’s Cheapest Supermarket of the Year for 2025, alongside its recent win as ‘Best Value Brand of the Year’.
The £100 vouchers can be spent across Aldi’s full range, from lunchbox staples and fresh fruit to everyday cupboard essentials, household items, and health and beauty products.
