Each season, Dunelm introduces fresh designs to the retailer’s beloved bedding range, and this upcoming autumn is no exception. The Catherine Lansfield Seersucker Frill Stripe Polycotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is already a top-selling design, but it’s now available in two additional shades – chocolate brown and plum.

Ideal for brisk autumn mornings, tones of chocolate brown and plum lend the bedroom a snug atmosphere, without appearing overly seasonal. Shoppers are delighted with the bedding’s quality given the price point, beginning at £24 for a single and £34 for a double.

One customer remarked: “Fab duvet cover and pillow cases. Looks expensive. Great value for money.” Attractive and anything but dull, the striped bedding transforms a room to sophisticated levels, yet it will effortlessly complement any current home décor.

The set is crafted from a seersucker fabric, which not only appears luxurious but also eliminates the need for ironing thanks to the bedding’s textured surface. It’s also made from a gentle cotton blend, ensuring it’s hardwearing yet comfortable and breathable.

Some shoppers might favour a higher cotton thread count, in which case this White/Blackberry Pinstripe Linen Cotton Blend Duvet Cover from Soak and Sleep might be more suitable, reports the Daily Record. A double size is currently reduced to £70, down from £189.

Looking at Dunelm’s autumnal bedding collection, customers are sharing glowing reviews after adding the set to their bedrooms. One shopper said: “This cover and pillowcases are absolutely stunning on my double bed. The bed is actually where I sleep and not in the spare room. The quality of this set is lovely and will wash well, too.”

However, one customer found it wasn’t quite right for them, describing the bedding as ‘excessively frilly’, which prompted them to award just a one-star rating.

On the flip side, a five-star reviewer noted: “Very pretty duvet cover and pillow cases. I always buy white, so this makes a lovely change.”
