Golf fans were left in disbelief after a “shirt’s off celebration” went viral on social media ahead of the 2026 Solheim Cup getting into full swing at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands
Golf fans have been left in disbelief after a topless celebration during a women’s event.
Alison Lee, 31, was part of Team USA for their 2024 Solheim Cup win over Team Europe – where she produced one of the shots of the tournaments history. During a four-ball session, on the second hole, Lee produced an incredible 86-yard chip, with the ball spinning back into the hole.
And as she celebrated with her team-mates, two caddies appeared, without their shirts, to celebrate the incredible shot. The footage, on the eve of the 2026 tournament, has reappeared on social media – leaving fans stunned.

“Didn’t think I’d ever see a ‘shirts off’ celebration in women’s golf,” one fan joked on social media.
However, upon seeing it was the caddies, some fans joked they felt robbed: “I’ve been hoodwinked, tricked, bamboozled, lied to, and more. Please mass report to save others!” As a second shared: “There is false advertising, there is misleading advertising!”
“You made me watch this entire video for absolutely nothing. I’m suing,” a third said. And another added: “Just ten seconds ago I was so excited!”
The Solheim Cup swings into action on Friday, with Lee as part of Team USA after taking a career break to become a mother.
“I’m just going to do everything I can, just tell myself absolutely no regrets looking back and just try really hard for this next probably year to maybe two years to just play the best golf I can because realistically I feel like I’ve thought about my future a lot, and moving forward I do want more kids.
“I want a bigger family…I think, if I were to have another baby, I think it would be ten times more difficult to try and come back and play.
“So I’ve really told myself like, hey, this next year, 2026-2027, I’m just going to do everything I can to possibly – I possibly can to play the best golf I can and say that I have no regrets.”
