Two men have been forcibly restrained after they allegedly became violent on a Qatar Airlines flight on 9/11’s 25th anniversary in a terrifying series of events
A shocking alleged altercation on board a Qatar Airways flight saw two men threatened they had a gun as fellow passengers restrained and zip-tied them down after they started assaulting staff on the same day as 25th anniversary of 9/11.
The frenzy erupted on Friday on a Qatar Airways-operated flight VA7 heading to Doha, from Melbourne, Australia. Witnesses have stated flight attendants were subjected to foul alleged abuse as the two men spat and headbutted them. And also made threats about wielding a gun.
As many as seven people reportedly restrained the two men who were later bound by by zip-ties during the flight. The individuals were handed over to authorities after the flight touched down in Doha. Speaking to Aussie news outlet 3AW’s Jacqueline Felgate one witness stated: “Really big props to the Qatar flight attendants, they were hands on for about 10 hours straight.” They added: “They really couldn’t do too much more.”
Another passenger stated the ordeal was “terrifying” and added it was “disgraceful what the poor flight attendants had to deal with.”
Qatar Airways have stated: “We can confirm that two male passengers were involved in a physical altercation on board flight VA7 from Melbourne to Doha, operated by Qatar Airways. Both passengers were restrained and, upon arrival in Doha, were handed over to local authorities.
The statement added: “Both passengers were restrained and, upon arrival in Doha, were handed over to local authorities.”
The shocking development comes on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attack on the World Trade Center. In total 2,996 people are known to have lost their lives during the attack including 19 al-Qaeda terrorists, and some 25,000 were injured as a result of the attacks.

Among the hazardous particles discovered in the debris were asbestos, lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium, crushed concrete, glass fibers, silica, and burning synthetic materials.
Both men and women to still continue to have their lives shortened because of the attacks.
