Hollywood star Alexandra Daddario reignited her love for England at the Spanish Grand Prix by nabbing a picture with Three Lions hero Jude Bellingham
Hollywood bombshell Alexandra Daddario’s love affair with the England national team has continued long after the World Cup wrapped up in July. The True Detective actress, 40, caught the eye of football fans over the summer after becoming an England fan.
She’s now doubled down on her love for Thomas Tuchel’s stars by grabbing a selfie with Jude Bellingham at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday. Best known for roles alongside Sydney Sweeney in The White Lotus and in films such as Baywatch, Daddario posted a series of photos from the Madrid-based event.
Mercedes star Kimi Antonelli won the race at Madring, but Daddario grabbed the attention with her photo next to Bellingham, the man who led the Three Lions to the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Daddario, who has English and Italian heritage, took her fandom for England to extremes during the 2026 World Cup. Her Instagram became a hotbed of support as she posted several snaps and videos of herself in the stands, following the Three Lions, despite being born and bred in New York City.
She was spotted inside the Foxborough Stadium as England drew 0-0 with Ghana in the group stage. Sporting a replica England shirt and baseball cap, she even managed to sneak a picture with England hero David Beckham.
Daddario even claimed she was “kicked out of the stands” during England’s quarter-final clash with Norway. The Three Lions ran out 2-1 winners over their European rivals at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The Baywatch star was spotted watching Thomas Tuchel’s team secure their place in the next stage of the tournament, wearing the England away jersey.
While she was initially seated in a luxury corporate box, Daddario took her chances and ventured out onto the terraces to get a better view of the action. However, she insisted that she was quickly ushered away from fans by security. She wrote on social media: “Got kicked out trying to sneak into the stands”.
The World Cup across the USA, Canada and Mexico was regarded as the most star-studded in the tournament’s history. Daddario wasn’t the only celeb rooting for the Three Lions either.
Tennis star Amanda Anisimova posted her support for England on social media, while Hollywood icon Tom Cruise was seen at the games with Beckham.
Beyond games featuring the Three Lions, the likes of Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Sabrina Carpenter and Paris Hilton were all seen enjoying the football this summer.
