A mother and her adult son have been charged with incest after the mum allegedly admitted that they slept together following a violent incident at their house in Florida, US
A married mum and her adult son have both been arrested after the pair allegedly admitted to having sex “100 times”.
Christine and Shane Clemens were charged with incest after an allegedly violent incident took place at their Florida home in the US earlier this year, according to a police statement. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said that cops were called to their home for reports of a “domestic violence event” in which Christina claimed her son struck her.
In an interview following the incident, the 46-year-old mum allegedly told police that her and her 22-year-old son had engaged in intercourse “only about 100 times”, according to a video statement posted by Polk County police, which labelled the alleged relationship “nasty” and “illegal”.
Police say the alleged relationship between the two relatives had been going on for the last four years, having started shortly after Shane Clemens turned 18.
Christina’s husband, who has not been named, reportedly told investigators that the pair had been “happily married” for a decade. He claimed that he was in no way aware of any form of sexual relationship between his wife and son.
According to Sheriff Judd, the husband did admit to being “a little suspicious”, as the pair would often “go in the master bedroom and lock the door.”
In a court affidavit posted on investigative news outlet The Smoking Gun, Shane Clemens did not grow up with his biological mother, but the pair rekindled their relationship after his 18th birthday.
According to the document, the mum and son’s sexual relationship included engaging in “oral sex, regular sex and anal sex”. It also alleges that the pair’s intimate relationship was filmed on several cameras in the family living room and the bedroom.
Judd said: “What else can you say. That’s nasty. And that’s illegal. They got charged with incest. And she got charged with adultery. It’s still on the books.”
The statement also referenced the alleged violence Shane Clemens had committed against his mum. Judd said: “Shane, you ought not to ever lay a hand on your mama for a lot of reasons, but you have one more reason why you shouldn’t.”
